I've been meaning to email for a while now, but have just been really busy. Anyway, Farley is doing great... growing and growing! He's about 18.5lbs now, but sometimes feels much heavier, especially when he's tuckered himself out and I have to pick him up to put him to bed - like a sack of potatoes! Ha ha!
He is super friendly with everyone (people and dogs). He has a wonderful buddy (a miniature Poodle) down the road that he plays with several times a week. He's even made friends with one of the neighbour's cats, though he hasn't quite figured out yet that she's not very interested in playing!
He just graduated from puppy classes last week, and he did really well. The classes were very helpful, and the instructors were fantastic. One of them commented on how well socialized Farley is, and asked if his breeder spent time getting him used to being touched / handled / cuddled, which of course I confirmed, and also noted that your puppies get used to having children around them, too, since your niece also helps out a lot. She said that this is really reflected in Farley, so kudos to you for giving Farley and all your other puppies such a great start in life!
Also, Farley is now neutered (and microchipped) as of June 29 :) I only have a receipt for this. If I sent you a copy of that, would that be enough (it's a full page printout)? Or should I get a certificate of some sort? I meant to ask our vet about that on Monday, but completely forgot. Anyway, just let me know if you need something more, and I'll ask our vet about it.
Hope you, Phil, and the rest of the KCK team are well and hope the dogs and pups are having a great summer! I've attached a few photos of Farley below!
