When our moms go into heat, we can have a black American Cocker Spaniel bred to a black Miniature Poodle and we could end up with blonde puppies. I have no idea how many puppies in the litter there will be, or colours and sexes based on previous litters, they are all so different from one litter to the next. I cannot guarantee particular colours or even 6 months in advance who will be our expectant moms as this is something that is out of my control. We are not a large scale kennel so availability dates are all over the place, same with when our dogs come into heat.
From experience I know that generally (not all the time) our females wont come into heat over the winter as their bodies are telling them that this is not a good time to have babies, and that makes sense right? Also just like us babies can come out with blonde hair from two brunette parents or red hair even, because of our genes. Well the same goes for the puppies, if grandma is a white poodle but mom is black, than chances are the puppies could end up light in some cases, make sense?
I cannot predict the future litter sizes, colours or sexes, it is out of my control. So if you are asking me who is expected to have puppies in 6 months to a year, well that is a guess. If you are asking what colours I am expecting..... no idea. If you are asking if I will have a blonde female available for June 1st, well if I had a crystal ball I could answer that question for you, but I don't.
This message is not meant at all to offend anyone but rather to enlighten your view of a breeding program and trust mother nature wont let us down.
If you have a preference for colour, sex and time frame absolutely let me know this, I will do my best to match you up, but if you are asking for definite answers on availability or timing I am only able to guess-ta-mate this.
