January 23rd, 2012 (update)

Hi Marilyn & Family

Hoping things are well with your and your family.

This Weds our Leo turns 6 months old, so I thought I would send you an updated picture. He's such a joy to our family, loves the snow, car rides , loves pestering the family cat ( which is a love-hate relationship )

Leo is now 25.6 lbs, yup he's still growing. He obviously going to take after his mom, He went to puppy school and loves all the other dogs and he passed with flying colors.

He also continues to love his crate, and now knows it's bedtime at 8:30pm...when he goes outside for the last trip of the evening where he takes as long as possible to do his duty, so he doesn't have to go to bed! ( like my kids )

He has been neutered and all went well! I dont't think he liked the cone hat , as he chewed it off after the 5th day.

Oh, wanted to elaborate on car rides ~ when we can't take him, we have to sneak out, as he wines to go as soon as he hears the keys jingle, its so funny how good his hearing is... and bath time - he also walks right into our shower for his baths... he lolves showers...he's quite funny! We cant leave the shower door open, as he at times, walked right in.....

Until next time,

Schnoodle - Wendell

2012

Hi Mary-Lyn

I have attached one picture I took a month or so ago. With him is Rusty, the third occupant of our house. Actually I think you may still have one that you took of him on your website.

I just wanted to tell you how much we're enjoying each other. He is rapidly turning into everything I ever wanted from a dog. Wonderful demeanor easy to train - and of course it was a bonus that he was already house trained. We both went to obedience classes before Christmas - he made it so easy! Of course it was me that really needed the instruction anyway.

We live surrounded by apple orchards, and it's an absolute joy to walk with him out there, let him off the leash, knowing he'll not stray far, and come quickly to his call. Just seeing him bounding around...

Best regards,

Martin

He sits on command and stayts really well when we go into stores. He is just adorable.

Schnoodle - Daisy

Hi Mary-Lyn !!!

Our sweet little Daisy is now five months old and such 11 lbs, she's a lean little machine that can out run any dog of any size at the off leash park. Very social! Every child on our street has adopted Daisy as their own, and when the school bus passes each afternoon you can hear the school children calling after her. She is amazed by this!!! We have accomplished our first 10 week session of obedience where she learned ( effortlessly I might add ) twelve commands. We will return in the fall for a session two. We have had a busy spring which has required a lot of travel. She has made many car rides well over 5 hours in lengh without so much as a peep, and is a respectful hotel guest as well. I couldn't be more pleased! I have never employed a crate with previous family pets, but I can't tell you how much I appreciate your initializing us to this concept. She is a willing participant, and never makes a squeak about her little house and is more than content there, whether home or away. All this to say.... we really love our Daisy, and thought you might like a little update.

Hope things are going equally well for you. Hugs for Brodie and Mia from our Daisy! Puppy Wishes!!!!

Warm regards, Katie

Schnoodle - Quincy

2011

Hi,

Our Quincy will be one year old tomorrow. He is a wonderful boy and stands about 16.5 inches at the shoulder. He has really long legs. He has stayed all black except for a small patch on his lower chest and a bit of white hair through his coat. He has the schnoodle determination, and does not like to be scolded. He is also a smiler, loves other dogs and people. He loves to play and teass our other dog.

We could not have asked for a better boy.

Here is a recent picture so you can see how cute he is.

Happy   New Year!!

Shichon - Phoebe

Hi Mary-Lyn:

It has been a year ago this week end that we picked up our puppy Phoebe. She has become a real joy. Her temperment is so good that little kids across the street and in the neighbourhopod come up to our door and ask if Phoebe can come out to play.

She has also become very therapeutic for our next door neighbour whose wife has Alzheimer's. Chris and I are at their home regularly and our neighbour's wife  can focus on Phoebe for small intervals but on little else. It is marvelous to see.

Phoebe has tons of personality and is full of P and V, usually in the evenings. She loves deep snow and digging in the garden. This has been a hot summer and we take her in the swimming pool regularly. She doesn't like it very much but she is not afraid of it either.

We have found as lovely woman who will stay at our home and take care of Phoebe and our home when we are away. This is working very well.

We enrolled ourselves in a dog obedience course last winter, quite expensive I might add, (I don't think you enrole your dog but yourself!) but we failed. It was all about how to walk a dog properly etc. We wanted the trainer to teach us how to get her from jumping up on people who come to the door. This was not part of the program.  We have solved this ourselves by saying "go to the stairs" which she does immediatly and gives our guests a high five.
We have a perfect little dog who is our joy and who is known throughout our neighbourhood as a very sweet and beautiful little creature.
I have attached a few pictures. One of her last winter, one with a little girl who is a neighbour of ours, one with the neighbour who has Azheimer's, one with Chris and Phoebe in the pool, and one on the window ledge in our living room where she sits and watches the activity on the street.

This little pup has changed our lives.

Kindest regards

Shichon - Daisy

Hi Mary-Lyn

Well Daisy is a joy. She has a huge personality and loves everyone. She settled within a couple of days of arriving at her new home. Nights were never a problem. House training has taken a bit longer but we are getting there. She chews continuously, toys, fingers and we have had a couple of minor mishaps with base-board and a chair leg but nothing that can't be put right. She understands a lot. You can tell her to fetch her ball and she will go off and find it. She always has a 'mad-hour' at 8:00 p.m. and if you don't play ball with her and tire her that hour can become two hours. She loves to play for as long as possible. Everyone adores her because she is so cute. She now weighs about 7 pounds. We took her down to Maryland for US Thanksgiving and she had a great time with our cousins dog. In fact they were inseparable (see pic).

Have a wonderful Christmas and we will keep in touch

Best wishes
Lynda, Mike & Daisy

Shichon - Abby

Hi Mary-Lyn,

After graduating from her second obedience class Abby continues to be the most affectioate, intelligent puppy we've ever had. She's playful & friendly with all the dogs she meets on her walks. Your crate training advice was very helpful and we now have a puppy that travels without any problems.
Abby has been a wonderful addition to our home & the grandchildren adore her. She can't wait to see them each day and they are constantly involved in her training.
When people inquire about Abby we don't hesitat to recommend your kennel.

Shichon - Toby

Hello, Mary-Lyn,

Thank you for treating my friend Sharon so well. I've seen pictures of Darcey and he's adorable. HER girls are really thrilled with him as is she. Toby is all grown up now, almost totally white except for his ears. He is the sweetest dog in the world. Hugh absolutely loves him and so do I. Toby knows EVERYTHING we say to him and is ahead of us half the time. He is robust, still very active and such a good boy in the condo. He rarely barks unless he and Hugh are seriously playing. He STILL gets carsick butu not so much as before. We have actually made it to the baseball park and back a few times now as long as his head is out the window. Although I bought him for Hugh and they are great mates, I am the one Toby is beside ALL the time, He is never more than a foot from me. He gives hugs, dances, chooses his own chew treats from the local pet store and will not let me pass the door until he does. Then he proudly carries the stick all the way home (it looks like a cigar sticking out of his mouth), showing it to everyone we pass. I have a neighbor who dog sits when we have to go away and she hates to give him back and is always asking where we're going next. He is an utter doll and he knows it. I wish I could have ten of him but feel very lucky to have our own special one. i won't bother you with updates often but SHaron said you remembered him and I thought you might like to see what a handsome boy he is.

All the best,
Kathryn

Maltichon - Jack

Hi Mary-Lyn,

Just wanted to send you an update on our little Malitchon whom we named Jack, he is doing awesome and has settled in with the family nicely. He loves the backyard and is doing really well with the training. He's had only a couple of "accidents" since we brought him home. He's so much fun and I think he really loves his new family too. Jack is such a great addition to our family. Thank you so much for your support during our search for him and all your help in answering our questions and concerns. We wish you well and will keep in touch. Please find attached a picture of Jack during his first week at home.

Kind Regards,

Maltchon - Jesse James

Hi Mary-Lyn,

I just wanted to thank you again for our Maltichon puppy. We named him Jesse James. He was very easy to train with very few "mistakes". He is very easy tempered and a constant source of entertainment keeping us laughing. He never barks or whines when we leave him at home and is always very happy to see us when we return. He gets along great with our other animals and even though he is a lot smaller he doesn't back down when playing. Our other dog MOlly has taken on a protective role over him and it is so cute to watch. I've included some updated pictures of him at 3 1/2 months old, but they don't even do him justice he is too cute for words. Thanks again for arranging the transportation to Fort McMurray!! Could not ask for a better puppy!!!
Thanks!!!
Angela MacDonald

Maltichon - Zoey

Hi Lyn

Susan here...Steffany sent the photos earlier this morning. Zoey has had a busy summer. We took her camping in the Maritimes for two weeks, and she was digging holes to China in the PEI sand. She went to Muskoka, Brampton and Sault Ste marie on her next summer adventure. She learned to dog paddle in Lake Huron, but she hated the salt water out east..... maybe because it was 12 degrees the first time she tried it.

She is very intelligent, loving and gentle with children. Whenever she is on a walk , and a toddler comes along, she sits to be petted. We love her dearly and everyoneraves about her! She loves to watch Kevin's soccer games and the players love her! Talk about unconditional love!

We hope all your puppies are selling and wish you a success in your business!
