They have quite the personalities and will keep you on your toes and laughing for many years.  This highly intelligent little dog is very easy to train as he or she is very eager to please and has a loving personalitiy.  Maltichon owners have commented on how calm these little dogs really are.  Always a solid white in colour, this little breed has lots of energy but does not require lots of exercise.  Maltichons make wonderful pets for families in the city as they are great apartment size companions.  They also love to travel and are never happier than with their families.

Having the best of both worlds in this adorable little mixed breed, it's really the way to go. Crossing the Maltese with the Bichon-Frise, you get a puppy who's life span is about 15-20 years.  You end up getting away from the hereditary problems that most pure bred breeds have.  You have a puppy that is non shedding and non allergenic, that is wonderfuly affectionate lots of energy but yet calm and cuddly.  The Maltichons make a wonderful companion, lap dog and will bring much love and joy into your home for many years to come.

Some info on the Maltese Breed

Maltese -  this adorable little dog is known to be all white in color, but can sometimes be found with cream or light lemon colored ears.  Also a pale ivory tinge to a light orange is permitted with this breed.  Their coat is also referred to as hair and is very low shedding and is a better choice for people with allergies.  Their noses are actually quite unique in regards to the fact that the color can change depending on exposure to the sun.  For example in the summer it can be black but in the winter can lighten to a pink and than go back to black again in the summer months.

Their weight varies from about 5-10 lbs. Maltese are bred to be quite cuddly dogs and thrive on love and attention. This breed is lively and playful and even through their years can keep up this energy and playful demeanor. They also prefer enclosed spaces so do quite well in apartments and closed in back yards
