Question: What does "first generation" mean? Answer: All of our puppies are a frist generation mix. This means that both parents are pure bred. Our Cockapoos parents are a pure bred American Cocker Spaniel and a pure bred Miniature Poodle. Our Shichons are a pure bred Bichon-Frise and a pure bred Shih-Tzu. In doing this it really is the best way to insure that your puppy is going to be non shedding and hypo-allergenic.
Question: Male vs female is there a difference personality wise? Answer: Knowing the parents lineage is very immportant in knowing what the puppies will turn out like. Here we personally hand pick our parents that way insuring that the puppies take on these wonderful characteristics. When purchasing a puppy from Kawartha Country Kennel we can assure you that no matter which sex you are interested in your puppy is going to have an excellent disposition, temperament and personality. We guarantee it! :)
Question: What cost should I count on with my new puppy? Answer: Your puppy will require a second booster shot at 3 months old. At 4-5 months a rabies vaccination is required and than shortly after you can spay or neuter your pet (which we highly recommend) This will insure that your male will not start marking his territory or females going through their heat.
Question: Do you recommend puppy training classes? Answer: Yes we do, it never hurts to do that as you can learn alot as well as your puppy. |
