( Shih-Tzu & Bichon Frise )
Also known as Shih-Bis - The "Teddy Bear" Breed
The Shichons are first generation mix of the purebred Shih-Tzu and the purebred Bichon Frise (see below pictures of one of our moms and our dad), and are known for their excellent dispositions, wonderful temperaments and great nature. Shichons make a wonderful lap dog and are great with children of all ages. They have a very laid back temperament as well as alot of patience for even the youngest in the family. This breed also shows a very unique personality.

The "known" underbite of the Shih-Tzu can often be passed down to their puppies and can sometimes be seen in the Shichon breed. This is not something to be concerned about and is actually a characteristic of both the Shih-Tzu and the Shichon breed. The classic underbite has no affect on this breeds' eating ability and can actually be quite cute. Shichons appearances show more of the Teddy Bear face that is so admired with the Bichon Frise breed. Their colors can be Black, Black and Tan, Brindle, White and Black, Tri coloured, Chocolate Brown or Blonde. Their size varies from 10 lbs to about 15 lbs.

This breed is very similar to the Shih-Poo breed. Their personalities and dispositions are very much alike. They even look very similar to the Shih-Poo when full grown. Some appearance differences may be shorter legs and a thicker, more fluffy coat, shown in the Shichon breed. Many allergy sufferers can have a Shih-Tzu dog and be okay, so crossing this breed with the Poodle gives the assurance that your puppy will be non allergenic and non shedding. This makes them an excellent pet choice for families of all ages and those who suffer with allergy symptoms. |

Male - Shichon Male available now. He has his first , second and third shots done. We are also getting him neutered this coming week. He has such a soft and fluffy coat and as he grows we will keep posting pictures for you to see. Full grown he will weigh about 10-15 lbs and is non shedding and non allergenic. The breed makes an excellent choice for family of all ages and does really well with small children as they have lots of patience. They also like travelling and are good on their own for long periods of time.

Female - Shichon, adorable and fluffy! This little girl is ready to go on March 9th as well. She is one of four siblings. Very cuddly already and starting to get around a bit more every day. This breed has an excellent disposition, wonderful temperament and loving nature. Even though they are little they can keep up with almost any lifestyle. Playful and cuddly, they make a wonderful family pet.
